1Program Description & Message Types

AutoTorro is an online vehicle service platform connecting customers with automotive service providers. SMS messaging is strictly optional. Customers can create an account, submit a vehicle service request, receive quotations, contact support, and use AutoTorro without consenting to SMS messages. Customers who voluntarily choose to receive SMS messages provide their mobile number and separately check an optional SMS consent checkbox that is unchecked by default. The SMS checkbox is not required and does not affect completion of registration, service requests, or any transaction. Transactional SMS messages are sent only to users who have provided explicit SMS consent.

Transactional SMS messages may include:

  • Appointment confirmations & vehicle service request updates
  • Alerts when local mechanics submit repair estimates/quotations
  • Mechanic assignments and booking reminders
  • Customer support communications & account security notifications

2How End-Users Consent (Opt-In Flow & CTA)

Customers voluntarily opt in to receive AutoTorro transactional SMS messages by checking a separate SMS consent checkbox that is optional and unchecked by default.

SMS consent is not required to create an account, submit a vehicle service request, receive quotations, contact customer support, purchase services, or otherwise use AutoTorro.

A customer who leaves the SMS checkbox unchecked can still complete registration and all applicable service transactions normally.

AutoTorro sends campaign SMS messages only when the customer has explicitly opted in.

The SMS opt-in mechanism is available publicly at: https://autotorro.com/sms-consent

Customers may also encounter the same optional SMS opt-in during account registration, contact form submission, or vehicle service requests.

Acceptance of Terms & Conditions and acknowledgment of the Privacy Policy are handled separately from SMS consent and are not bundled with or dependent on the SMS opt-in checkbox.

The SMS disclosure identifies the message types, message frequency, message and data rate notice, and STOP/HELP instructions.
